Your email, phone number, and exact location are never shared with other members. You control what's visible.

Harassment, fake profiles, and inappropriate behaviour result in permanent bans. No second chances for serious violations.

Don't move to WhatsApp, Instagram or phone calls until you're confident the person is who they say they are.

Never send money

A genuine person seeking marriage will never ask you for money, gift cards, or financial help.

Meet in public with a mahram

Your first meeting should always be in a public place and ideally accompanied by a mahram or trusted person.

Trust your instincts

If something feels off, it probably is. You can block and report anyone at any time without explanation.

Protect your personal details

Don't share your home address, workplace, or financial information with someone you haven't met or fully verified.

Involve your wali early

Islamic guidance recommends involving a wali in the process. Haya's guardian mode makes this easy and dignified.

If someone makes you uncomfortable, sends inappropriate messages, or appears to be misrepresenting themselves, please report them immediately.
