What is a Founding Member?

What exactly does Qaboolify AI do?

Three things: it builds your profile on sign-up through a short conversation (no forms); it shows a full compatibility breakdown on every match — scored across deen, lifestyle, family goals, and personality with a plain-English explanation; and it suggests personalised icebreakers when you open a chat. The icebreaker is always labelled so the other person knows it was AI-assisted. After that first message, it's all you.

Is Qaboolify free to use?

Yes — there will always be a free tier. You can create a profile, browse Discover, send up to 5 interest requests per day, and see your 3 most recent admirers and profile visitors at no cost. Matches (where both of you liked each other) are unlocked at Pro — this is where the real conversation begins.

What is Super Salaam?

Super Salaam is a one-time £1.99 add-on that pins your interest request to the top of someone's received list and sends them an instant notification. It's a clear, respectful way to signal serious intent without being intrusive. Available to all members — no subscription needed.

Is my data safe and private?

Absolutely. Your photos are only visible to logged-in members. We never sell your data, are fully GDPR compliant, and never share your info with third parties for advertising.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel at any time and you'll retain access until the end of your billing period — no funny business.

What is Guardian Mode?

Guardian Mode is a Premium-exclusive feature that lets you involve your Wali — a father, brother, uncle, or trusted Islamic scholar — directly in your marriage search. Your Wali gets their own dedicated dashboard and you can grant them full read access to your conversations, the ability to approve or decline matches, or join conversations as a full participant. Your guardian receives a personal email invitation and does not need a paid subscription to accept. If they are already a Qaboolify member, they keep their own profile active — one account, dual role. You can update or remove access at any time.

What is a Profile Boost?

A Profile Boost moves your profile higher in other members' Discover feeds for 24 hours. It's a one-time £4.99 purchase available to Pro and Premium members. A new boost can be purchased at any time — each lasts exactly 24 hours from the moment of purchase.

What is Spotlight?

Spotlight features your profile at the very top of the Discover page for 48 hours, giving you the highest possible visibility. It's a one-time £7.99 purchase available to Pro and Premium members. Like Boost, it can be purchased at any time and lasts exactly 48 hours.

How does ID verification work and why does it cost £9.99?

You scan a government-issued ID (passport, driving licence, or national ID) and complete a short liveness check. The whole process takes 2–3 minutes on your phone or desktop. We use a third-party identity verification service — your documents are never stored by Qaboolify. The £9.99 one-time fee covers the cost of that service. Once verified, a permanent ✅ ID Verified badge appears on your profile — you never pay again.

How does anti-ghosting work?

If a conversation goes quiet for 48 hours — and the last message was sent to you — Qaboolify sends you a gentle email reminder. This is paired with an Islamic note on why leaving someone without a response causes hurt. If the conversation remains silent for 7 days, it is automatically archived and both parties are notified. Nothing is deleted — you can restart at any time. This feature is available on Pro and Premium.

Is Qaboolify suitable for reverts?

Absolutely. Qaboolify welcomes all Muslims — born Muslim, reverts, divorcees, and widows/widowers. The profile builder lets you describe what matters most to you in your own words, and compatibility scoring reflects your values, not just your background.
